Day 7: Wisdom for Dark Days.

Today marks a week since I started this challenge. And honestly, I thought it will be harder to sit down and write every day at the same time (I wanted to do it at the same time so it becomes a routine). But funny enough, this has been the best part of my week so far. Sitting at my desk, with a cup of coffee, music blasting in my headphones and me and my own ideas.

I think it has given me more clarity, it’s like a blanket that I snuggle into.

It also gave me the possibility to look back at my blog and see how I’m evolving in terms of writing.

And because of that, and because it’s a rainy and because it’s Sunday, I thought of putting together a collection of some quotes that I have hanging around my room and notebooks. Quotes that pick me up and give me inspiration every day.

I suggest listening to this amazing song while you read this:

“It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to, has power over you.”  ~Leon Brown

“You’ve got to know your limitations. I don’t know what your limitations are. I found out mine when I was 12. I found out that there weren’t too many limitations if I did it my way.” ~ Johnny Cash

“To stay with a broken hearth, a rumbling stomach, with the feeling of hopelessness and waiting to get revenge, that is the true path to awakening.” ~ Pema Chodron

“I intend on spending every single penny I make changing and travelling the world. That is all. Adventure awaits.” ~ Rachel Brathen

“She was never crazy. She just didn’t let her heart settle in a cage. She was born wild, and sometimes we need people like her. For it’s the horrors in her heart which cause the flames in ours. And she was always willing to burn for everything she has ever loved.” ~R.M. Drake

“You don’t always win your battles, but it’s good to know that you fought.” ~ Lauren Bacall

“Trust that life will always, always take you where you need to be. Even in the dark moments.” (elephant journal)

“My heart is drumming in my chest so hard it aches, but it’s the good kind of ache, like the feeling you get on the first real day of autumn, when the air is crisp and the leaves are flaring at the edges and the wind just smells vaguely of smoke – like the end and the beginning of something all at once.” ~ Lauren Oliver

“I believe in the good things coming, coming, coming …” ~ Nahko Bear

I hope your Sunday is amazing. I hope you spend it in mindfulness, reflecting on new dreams, more inspiration, less laziness, more actions.

Spread Love and Positiveness.

Remember, it’s just a bad day, not a bad life.

Peace & Love,
